I Need Your Help. Please.

February 15, 2012

As far as I am concerned, the decision-making process of the POA does not pass the smell test. I also think the judgment of those on the POA poor at best and out of touch with reality at worst. Just because action — contemplated or already taken — may (or may not) be “legal” does not make it right.

To quote Spiderman, “with great power comes great responsibility.” I point this out because the POA doesn’t seem to get it that they are spending our money and limiting our use of our own Williams Island facilities.

I am not asking you to agree or disagree with anyone or any decision.

I am asking for your help in learning some important information from each of you. Giving me this information will probably not change anything that has already been decided by the POA. It will, however, help to build a foundation to create greater transparency and a more responsible decision-making process by the POA.

Please send me an e-mail (arthurshanker505@gmail.com) with your responses to the following questions:

  1. What is your Unit No.?
  2. Are you a member of the spa?
  3. Did you choose to join the spa or were you required to join the spa?
  4. Do you use the spa?

Thank you, and as always please let me know what you think on this or any other subject.
